Cargill has successfully arranged a new charter for the transport of 160,000 tonnes of coal from Port Bolivar to Rotterdam. This deal, involving a freight rate of $13.50 per tonne, stipulates a loading capacity of 50,000 tonnes and a discharge rate of 25,000 tonnes. The loading and unloading operations are scheduled to take place between December 20 and December 29. This charter has been relet through Jera, further highlighting the ongoing strategic partnerships in the maritime coal transport sector.

In a recent development, Swiss Marine has secured a new charter for the transport of 160,000 tons of coal from Puerto Bolivar to Rotterdam. The terms of the deal include a freight rate of $7.50 per ton, with 50,000 tons to be loaded on a shinc basis and 25,000 tons to be discharged. The charter period is scheduled from August 22 to August 27, marking a significant logistical operation in the maritime transport sector.
