(N‐OTC: CHEMS), a leading player in the global chemical transportation sector, proudly announces the acquisition of the Navig8 Sky, its latest 25,000 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker. This significant delivery comes from Kitanihon Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, marking the second vessel in a series of six contracted for construction with the shipbuilder. The Navig8 Sky also represents the concluding addition financed through a secured loan facility with Credit Suisse AG, a deal that was initially publicized on June 22, 2016. The newly received chemical tanker will be integrated into Navig8 Group’s Stainless8 commercial pool, enhancing their operational capacity in the transport of essential chemicals.
