OW Bunker has officially announced its acquisition of two advanced bunker vessels, the OW Copenhagen and OW Aalborg, enhancing its operations in the Nordic region. Built in 2006 and 2005 respectively, these vessels are both recognized as state-of-the-art double-hulled tankers, boasting a deadweight tonnage of 3,500 dwt. Each ship features an impressive tank capacity of 4,260 m³ and is capable of achieving pumping rates of up to 600 m³/hr. The bunkering vessels are also equipped with Coriolis mass flow meters, ensuring accurate measurement of the fuel volume delivered. Prior to the acquisition, OW Bunker managed the operations of both vessels under a bare-boat charter agreement with the renowned international shipping company, Clipper Group.
