The incident primarily affected the ship's forecastle maneuvering station, bollards, capstan, and the starboard line station, among other areas above the waterline. Following an initial assessment of the damages, the ship was deemed seaworthy and set sail for Marmara Ereğlisi. It successfully transited through the Bosphorus on January 2, 2026, and as of January 4, it was observed moored at coordinates 40° 59' N 028° 03' E.
