Sources reveal that Mugur, originally hailing from Constanta, Romania, had been undergoing treatment for diabetes since Thursday. His unexpected passing was reported to local authorities early on Saturday morning. Inspector Suresh of Tuticorin North police informed that the next steps involve a post-mortem examination, and an inquiry will be initiated involving other crew members of the Insomnia along with eyewitnesses. The cargo ship is currently being held at Tuticorin port until further investigations are finalized.
