In a swift response, the OOW engaged the vessel's engines and maneuvered to thwart the boarding effort. Thanks to the quick action of the authorities in Takoradi, a patrol vessel was dispatched, leading to the arrest of the would-be pirates and ensuring the safety of the vessel and crew.
