In an exciting development for the shipping industry, Chialease Finance of Taiwan has reportedly finalized a charter agreement with Oldendorff for the bulk carrier YM Rightness, which has a deadweight tonnage of 77,684 dwt and was constructed in 2004. The charter is set to span a duration of four to eight months, with a daily rate established at $5,200. The vessel is expected to be delivered in Ulsan, South Korea. This deal marks a continuation of Oldendorff's strategic fleet expansion, as the German carrier has successfully secured seven panamax vessels on long-term charters since the beginning of 2016.
