On the evening of October 11, 2015, an unexpected weather change caused three tankers, namely 'Aegean Rose', 'Eviapetrol IV', and 'Menalon', to break free from their moorings at the Hellenic Petroleum terminal in Elefsis. Thanks to the swift actions of the crews and terminal staff, fuel pumping was halted, and cargo hoses were disconnected. However, some residual fuel in the hoses leaked into the surrounding waters, leading to pollution across an area of approximately 500 square meters. As 'Aegean Rose' and 'Eviapetrol IV' drifted into one another, the former sustained scratches and dents on its portside, while the latter suffered damage to its cargo deck, including dented and broken railings. Both vessels were subsequently detained for thorough inspections and investigations to assess the extent of the damage and pollution.

In a recent maritime transaction, a vessel has been successfully sold to a group of Greek buyers for a remarkable sum of $5 million.
