Explorer Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On February 12, 2025, the vessel 'EXplorer' faced detention in Jiangyin due to six identified deficiencies, three of which were classified as critical grounds for detention. The major issues included insufficient fire safety measures related to the structural integrity for fire prevention, significant corrosion on the decks affecting structural conditions, and non-compliance in pollution prevention concerning the oil filtering equipment. Fortunately, the 'EXplorer' was cleared and permitted to leave the port on February 13, setting sail towards Cam Pha. This is not the first time the vessel has faced scrutiny; it was previously detained on April 26, 2023, in Changshu, where it recorded five deficiencies and was held for two days.
