Fortunately, a doctor present on the ferry administered immediate first aid. The DGzRS lifeboat 'Hans Dittmer,' stationed at Juist, was promptly dispatched with a medical team on board. Upon arrival, the lifeboat maneuvered alongside the ferry, allowing the medical professionals to board.
