Jan 27, 2017 09:20

On January 26, 2017, at 7:45 a.m., the 'Georg Essberger,' while traveling from Bützfleth to Klaipeda, experienced an engine failure in the Kiel Canal. The incident occurred shortly after the vessel departed from the large Southern lock in Brunsbüttel, heading eastbound.
