Diana Shipping Secures Lucrative Time Charter with Glencore for m/v Oceanis

The contract involves the Panamax dry bulk vessel, m/v 'Oceanis', which boasts a deadweight tonnage of 75,211 and was constructed in 2001. Under the terms of the contract, Diana Shipping will receive a gross charter rate of $9,000 per day, with a 5% commission deducted for third-party services. This charter is set for a minimum duration of seven months, extending up to a maximum of ten months, and is anticipated to begin on June 19, 2014. The financial outlook for this arrangement is promising, with an estimated gross revenue of approximately $1.9 million expected for the minimum duration of the charter.
