In an incident early Tuesday morning, the Cambodian-flagged cargo vessel Omega Livestock collided with the Turkish-flagged tanker Selay-S in the Marmara Sea off the coast of Sarkoy, northwest Turkey. The Omega Livestock was on its way to Syria after departing from Romania when it struck the Selay-S. Fortunately, the crash did not result in any casualties, although it did cause significant financial damage, according to officials. Authorities are currently assessing the situation and investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
