Hafnia Strengthens Fleet with Acquisition of Two MR Product Tankers from Gestion Maritime

Hafnia Ltd, part of the BW Group, has announced a strategic agreement to enhance its tanker fleet through the acquisition of two Medium Range (MR) product tankers from Gestion Maritime. The vessels involved in this transaction are the StenaWeco Andrea Corrado and StenaWeco Caterina Corrado, both of which were constructed at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in 2015. These tankers are projected to be delivered to Hafnia between October and November 2019. Additionally, on August 30, 2019, Hafnia finalized an agreement to sell the Hafnia Atlantic, a Liberia-flagged MR product tanker built in 2004 (IMO 9278519). This move reflects Hafnia's ongoing commitment to optimizing its fleet and maintaining a competitive edge in the maritime industry.
