In a dramatic rescue operation on June 27, 2012, the Indian Coast Guard swiftly intervened to assist a Chinese crew member aboard the vessel 'Heilan Star.' The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when the crew member fell from the deck crane, rendering him unconscious as the ship was en route to Singapore from Bandar Abbas. Promptly responding to the emergency, the Coast Guard advised the ship's master to redirect towards the Mumbai coast.
