On the night of July 5, 2015, at 11:30 PM, the vessel 'HH 305' was involved in a collision with the fishing boat 'Jan Maat' while it was docked at Rostock's fishing port. The incident resulted in considerable damage to the 'Jan Maat', particularly on its port side where a four-meter section of the bulwark was ripped off, along with the destruction of several frames. Additionally, the starboard side incurred damage as it was pushed against the quay. There was also a minor level of water ingress reported on the fishing vessel. Fortunately, initial investigations indicated that the 'HH 305' itself sustained no damage. Both ships were subsequently barred from leaving port pending further inspection.
