In a timely response to a medical emergency, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) East London launched the rescue vessel "Spirit of Lotto" on November 6, 2016. At 06:15 a.m., the NSRI crew was tasked with an important mission to meet the "Voge Master," located three nautical miles offshore from East London Port. A 45-year-old crew member aboard the vessel was experiencing severe lower abdominal pain and required urgent medical attention.
