The Jade: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

In a significant development, the 'Jade' has become the fourth cruise ship to be chartered for the purpose of accommodating migrants rescued in Maltese waters. This decision follows the rescue of 75 individuals by the Armed Forces of Malta on the night of May 27, 2020. The Supreme Cruises vessel is set to join the existing fleet of three Captain Morgan ships, which are currently stationed one nautical mile off the coast of Malta. Together, these vessels are providing shelter for a total of 425 migrants. The Maltese government is renting the initial trio of ships at a cost of €3,000 per day, illustrating the ongoing efforts to manage the humanitarian crisis at sea.
