Working Conditions Aboard the Keoyoung-Star3

On September 19, 2020, at 9:20 a.m., the cargo ship 'Keoyoung Star 3' experienced a minor explosion within its main hold while docked at Tagonoura Port. Witnesses reported the emission of yellow smoke following the incident. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fire resulting from the explosion. After the incident, the vessel proceeded to leave Tagonoura at 1:00 p.m. and successfully reached the port of Ulsan on September 21, arriving at 5:15 a.m.

On June 25, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., the bulk carrier 'Keoyoung Star 3' ran aground shortly after departing from the JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation facility near Mizushima. Fortunately, the ship was refloated successfully at 1:50 a.m. the following morning, and there have been no reports of damage to its hull. The vessel then continued its journey, docking in Mizushima at 2:00 a.m. on June 27.
