Winter storms sweeping across Europe have caused a setback for HB Grandi's latest fishing vessel, the Engey, which has been stranded at the Celiktrans shipyard in Istanbul. The Icelandic seafood company announced that the vessel, now fully equipped and prepared for its journey, is set to embark on a two-week voyage back to Iceland. Upon arrival, the Engey will undergo installation of advanced Skaginn processing equipment. A dedicated crew of seven is on standby to navigate the vessel home. Measuring 54.75 meters in length and 13.5 meters in width, the Engey boasts a robust engine output of 1,790 kW at 800 rpm. As HB Grandi awaits the vessel's return, the company remains optimistic that the ongoing strike among fishermen will have concluded by the time the Engey reaches Iceland.
