In a strategic move to enhance its financial outlook, Top Ships has successfully secured an impressive addition of $27.4 million to its backlog following the extension of time charter agreements with Stena Bulk for four MR2 product tankers. The vessels Stenaweco Energy and Stenaweco Elegance will continue their charters for an additional 12 months, while Stenaweco Evolution and Stenaweco Excellence have had their contracts extended for 18 months. All four tankers were originally chartered as newbuilds under 3+1+1 or 5+1+1 contractual agreements, reinforcing Top Ships' commitment to long-term partnerships in the maritime sector.
