In a strategic move to bolster its freight operations, Finnlines is set to strengthen its service on the Rosslare to Zeebrügge route by introducing the 'Lismore' as a second vessel. This new addition will enhance capacity and facilitate more frequent sailings between Ireland and mainland Europe, catering to the escalating demand from customers. The 'Lismore' is scheduled to commence operations alongside the existing vessel, 'Finnwave,' starting May 28, 2026. Operating under a charter agreement, the 'Lismore' empowers Finnlines to swiftly adapt to the rising market demand while assuring reliable service and flexible schedules for its clientele. The 'Lismore' boasts a cargo capacity of 4,076 lane metres, complementing the 'Finnwave,' which can carry 4,192 lane metres. Furthermore, both vessels are designed to accommodate around 260 trailers and house up to 12 drivers, ensuring efficient transport solutions for freight operators.

In an exciting development for the maritime industry, the newly chartered vessel ALF POLLAK, boasting a substantial capacity of 4,076 lane meters, has officially joined the U.N. Ro-Ro fleet. This addition, provided by DFDS, is set to complement the existing FIONIA SEAWAYS, significantly increasing the operational capacity of the Istanbul-Trieste route. This strategic move highlights the commitment of U.N. Ro-Ro and DFDS to meet growing transportation demands and enhance service efficiency in this key maritime corridor.

The ro-ro vessel ALF POLLAK, measuring 4076 lanem, initially slated to serve on Tirrenia’s Genoa – Livorno – Catania – Malta route, has reportedly been secured under a charter agreement with CLdN/Cobelfret. This decision will see the ALF POLLAK continue its operations in the North Sea region.

Tirrenia is gearing up to welcome its latest addition, the ALF POLLAK, a robust freight ro-ro vessel boasting a capacity of 4,076 lane meters. Scheduled for delivery imminently, this new vessel is set to become operational on the Italian operator's maritime service in December, connecting Genoa, Livorno, Catania, and Valletta. Achille Onorato, CEO of Onorato Armatori Group, which owns Tirrenia, confirmed the news during a statement in Milan on November 17. Also destined for the same route, the sister ship, MARIA GRAZIA ONORATO, is anticipated for delivery in early 2019, further bolstering Tirrenia's service offerings.
