In a recent development, Scadar, a bunkering company based in Murmansk, has successfully purchased the tanker previously known as 'Dumankaya'. This acquisition comes after the Norwegian port of Tonsberg denied the vessel permission to discharge last summer. Vladislav Boyarskiy, the shipowner from Murmansk, confirmed the transaction, revealing that his firm invested $5.7 million in the tanker, which has now been rebranded as 'Marinstraum'. Since August 21, 2022, the vessel has remained idled in Murmansk.
