Cargo Ship Loses Moorings at La Spezia Port
On October 29, 2018, the cargo vessel "Mario CTM" unexpectedly broke free from its moorings at the San Bartolomeo dock in La Spezia, where it had been undergoing maintenance since October 3. The ship, which was carrying ballast, was quickly brought under control by nearby tugboats and safely returned to its original berth. Fortunately, there were no reports of any damages to the vessel or port facilities.
