Charter Agreement Secured for Iron Ore Shipment from Dampier to Qingdao

On December 9, 2019, a new charter has been established for the transportation of 170,000 tons of iron ore from Dampier, Australia to Qingdao, China. The shipment, set to conclude by December 11, 2019, has been arranged at a competitive rate of $8.95 per ton, free in and out (fio). This deal includes 90,000 tons to be loaded on a schedule along with a discharge of 30,000 tons, with Rio Tinto facilitating the operation.
