In a significant milestone for the Turkish maritime industry, the NENE HATUN, the country's inaugural emergency response vessel (ERV), has been officially launched. Constructed by Sefine Shipyard in the Yalova Region, this state-of-the-art vessel measures 87 meters in length and 19 meters in breadth. Minister Lutfi Elvan announced that the total investment for the NENE HATUN ERV project amounts to €31,141,000. He emphasized the importance of such projects for the Turkish shipyards, particularly during challenging economic times, highlighting their essential role in bolstering the nation's maritime capabilities.
