Disabled Tanker Rescued and Towed to Rotterdam
On April 29, 2018, the iconic Kotug Smit tugboats, "Smit Cheetah" and "Smit Schelde," were dispatched to assist the disabled tanker, "Nordstraum," which had encountered difficulties in the North Sea while making its way from Immingham to Rotterdam. The incident occurred during the midday hours, prompting an immediate response from the tugboats.
