Minor Allision in Baltimore Involving 'Orion Highway' and 'Ever Laurel'
Early in the morning on January 6, 2018, a maritime incident occurred in Baltimore. At approximately 4:50 a.m., the bulk carrier 'Orion Highway' was navigating towards the Dundalk Marine Terminal when it struck the containership 'Ever Laurel', which was securely docked at the Seagirt Marine Terminal. Fortunately, both vessels sustained only minor damage as a result of the allision. Following the incident, the 'Orion Highway' departed Baltimore at 2:10 a.m. on January 7, while the 'Ever Laurel' set sail later that day at 9:15 p.m., resuming operations without significant delays.
