Tragic Loss on the 'Paramita': Crew Member Succumbs to Illness
A tragic incident unfolded aboard the vessel 'Paramita' on October 13, 2024, as a 48-year-old crew member, Yuli Bagus Prasetyo, originally from Indonesia, passed away after falling ill. At approximately 5:30 p.m., the ship's captain discovered Prasetyo unconscious and immediately alerted Himani Shipping, the local shipping agent. Employee Denish Panwala swiftly transported the ailing crew member to BAPS Hospital located in Adajan. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the attending physician pronounced him dead at around 7:00 p.m. Following standard protocol, Prasetyo's remains were subsequently sent to Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination and necessary formalities. Preliminary reports indicate that he may have succumbed to natural causes. In response to the incident, the Hazira police have officially registered an accidental death case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this sad event.
