This impressive new vessel was launched into the picturesque waters of the Flensburg fjord, marking another step in the construction schedule for Seatruck Ferries Ltd. The order includes a total of four identical sister vessels, with the remaining two scheduled to follow in the coming months. These state-of-the-art ferries, measuring 142 meters in length and 25 meters in width, are specifically designed to serve the bustling Irish Sea route. Each ship features a remarkable freight capacity of 2,166 lane meters across four decks and can accommodate up to 151 trailers. With their modern design and efficiency, these vessels will become the largest ships to operate from the northwestern English port of Heysham, revolutionizing transport options in the region. The ships are expected to be delivered gradually from November 2023 until June 2024, enhancing the Seatruck fleet’s operational capabilities.
