What Crew Members Say About Puma

On February 14, 2019, the tanker vessel 'Puma' was placed under quarantine at Manzanillo Anchorage after docking from Avon with a crew of 21. A total of 11 crew members reported ill, with two testing positive for the H3N2 influenza virus. While the remaining crew has since been treated and showed no further symptoms, they are required to complete a quarantine period with daily medical checks. The crew comprises mainly European nationals, including individuals from Lithuania, Russia, and Ukraine.
