The sanctioned Russian insurance companies, Alfastrakhovanie PLC and VSK, will face restrictions that prohibit any partnerships with international entities, effectively cutting them off from global markets. Additionally, the sanctioned tankers are now barred from entering UK ports, with authorities maintaining the right to redirect and detain these vessels when necessary. These ships will not be listed on the UK Ship Register, and existing registrations will be revoked. Moreover, vessels involved in transactions that qualify under the Oil Price Cap Exception will not enjoy price cap exemptions, further solidifying the impact of these sanctions.
