At 9 a.m., rescue efforts commenced as the tugboat 'Hunter' began towing the disabled tanker towards Rotterdam. The 'Coastalwater' successfully docked at the VOPAK chemical port on October 6 at 3:20 p.m. After undergoing necessary repairs, the tanker set sail again on October 18 at 7:10 p.m., making its way back to Immingham, where it arrived safely on October 19 at 11:45 p.m.

On November 21, 2023, the Dover Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) alerted the CROSS Gris-Nez regarding the 'Coastalwater', a tanker that sustained damage during the fierce winds of Storm Angus, which reached gusts of up to 50 knots. The incident occurred approximately 3.5 nautical miles off the English coastline. The vessel required assistance, prompting the deployment of the tugboat 'Abeille Languedoc'. The 'Coastalwater' successfully docked in Dover at 4:10 a.m. on the same day, ensuring the safety of its crew and cargo.
