Working Conditions Aboard the Seletar-Spirit

In the early hours of April 26, 2019, the crew of the 'Seletar Spirit' experienced a near-breach incident while the vessel was anchored at Puerto La Cruz. At approximately 03:30 a.m., the duty officer monitored the ship’s CCTV and detected an unauthorized individual loitering on the forecastle. Quick to act, the officer raised the alarm, alerting the entire crew. As the team responded, the intruder quickly exited the ship, escaping with stolen items from the forecastle store. Fortunately, the swift actions of the crew prevented further loss and ensured the ship’s security.
