Scorpio Tankers Secures Timecharter Deals for MR and LR2 Product Tankers

Scorpio Tankers has successfully entered into timecharter agreements for two of its medium-range (MR) product tankers and one long-range 2 (LR2) tanker. The MR tankers, STI Notting Hill and STI Westminster, both weighing in at 50,000 deadweight tons and built in 2015, have been chartered to undisclosed clients at a daily rate of $20,500 each. These three-year charters are slated to begin by December. Additionally, the LR2 tanker has been contracted to the well-known Indian refiner, Reliance Industries, further expanding Scorpio’s footprint in the market.
