A worrying situation has unfolded in the Flores Sea as 22-year-old Indian deck cadet Pranav Karad has been reported missing from the vessel 'REsolve II'. This incident occurred on the night of April 4, 2024, while the ship was en route between Singapore and Indonesia. Pranav, who hails from the Warje area of Pune, has left his family deeply distressed as they seek assistance from the Indian government. Employed by Wilhelmsen Ship Management India based in Mumbai, Karad had been with the company for six months prior to his disappearance. Since being informed of his absence, Pranav's family has been tirelessly reaching out to the police in Pune and Mumbai, as well as various authorities, in hopes of contacting the Prime Minister’s Office and the ministries of external affairs and shipping. The search for the missing cadet continues as his loved ones hold on to hope.
