On the morning of January 10, 2023, a maritime accident unfolded as the VB Wilhelmshaven, identified by IMO number 9183403, collided with the launch Maker IV, operated by Jade-Service. The incident occurred when the tugboat struck the 7-meter vessel at its stern, leading to a sudden capsize. Fortunately, both crew members aboard the Maker IV managed to escape from the wheelhouse and were rescued by fellow sailors from Maker VI.
