Polarcus Limited has confirmed the upcoming redelivery of the vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov, previously known as Polarcus Selma. This announcement follows their prior notice on June 10, 2019, regarding the extension of the bareboat charter agreement, which includes a redelivery option contingent upon the successful completion of the 'charter-back' for a significant wide-azimuth project first disclosed on June 3, 2019. SCF has opted to exercise this redelivery clause, and Polarcus expects to welcome the vessel back in November 2019 as the wide-azimuth project in the Americas wraps up.

Polarcus, a prominent offshore survey company based in Dubai, has confirmed that Russia's leading shipping firm, Sovcomflot, has opted to return the survey vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov, formerly known as Polarcus Selma. Since its inaugural delivery in 2011, this vessel has been operating under a bareboat charter arrangement with Sovcomflot. The recent contractual agreement included a stipulation allowing for redelivery with a minimum notice of 30 days, signaling key developments in the ongoing maritime operations between these two companies.

Polarcus Limited has successfully negotiated a three-year extension of the Bareboat Charter Party Agreement for the M/V Vyacheslav Tikhonov. This agreement, which now continues between Polarcus Selma Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Polarcus, and SCF Sakhalin Supply Limited, comes as part of SCF Group's option laid out in the existing contract. Originally established in 2011, this extension ensures that the vessel's charter will be in effect for an additional three years, commencing on August 18, 2016. This significant development follows a stock exchange announcement made by Polarcus on August 11, 2011, highlighting the long-standing strategic partnership with SCF Group.
