Working Conditions Aboard the Argent-Sunrise

The U.S. Coast Guard has launched an investigation into a tragic incident aboard the MOL-operated chemical tanker, Argent Sunrise, which was anchored near Richmond, California. Reports from local media indicate that a man in his 30s was found deceased on the vessel. The Richmond Fire Department, in conjunction with Coast Guard personnel, recovered the body after the unfortunate event was initially reported to law enforcement on November 12. At the time of the recovery, the Argent Sunrise was docked at the ConocoPhillips terminal on Canal Boulevard. Current Automatic Identification System (AIS) data reveals that the tanker is now en route to Stockton.
