On June 17, 2018, at approximately noon, a significant allision took place in Livorno when the LPG tanker 'Antwerpen' (IMO: 9318321) collided with the bulk carrier 'Oriental Jasmine'. This incident resulted in damage to the hulls of both vessels. The accident occurred in a busy area of the Tuscan port, near a large cluster of 200 oil and gas storage tanks. The 'Oriental Jasmine', which had recently arrived from Cartagena, was maneuvering to secure its position at berth 28 when it accidentally struck the stern of the 'Antwerpen', which was already docked at berth 30.
