In a significant maritime transaction, the vessels Nomad, Galahad, and their sister ship have been sold en bloc to a group of Greek buyers for a total of $15.5 million. This deal highlights the ongoing interest and investment in the maritime sector by Greek stakeholders.

The A & P Group's Tyne yard in South Tyneside has once again showcased its impressive capabilities by successfully refurbishing the 183-meter-long chemical tanker, Sinbad, in just 14 days. This extensive refurbishment project included vital steel repairs, pipe renewals, meticulous grit-blasting of the hull, comprehensive electrical repairs and installations, as well as crucial main engine repairs and anchor refurbishments. With a deadweight tonnage of 45,000, the Sinbad was at the Hebburn yard for a tight two-week schedule, during which a dedicated team of 100 skilled workers operated around the clock. The ambitious project also featured a complete repaint, leaving the vessel in top-notch condition upon its timely departure. This efficient turnaround is a testament to the yard's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
