On January 10, 2018, a navigational error led to a collision between two vessels on the Rhine River. At approximately 6:27 p.m., the Eiltank 232, a tanker weighing 2,596 tons (IMO No.: 8647165), struck the Ocean, which weighed 2,349 tons (EU No.: 2327056).
